He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Eidel and Olive Eidel of Eden, MT.; his former wife Joan Eidel (Morgan); his siblings, Charles Eidel of Seeley Lake, Jack Eidel of Great Falls and Dorothea (Bradley) of Miles City; his nephew Bill Eidel of Great Falls; and his niece Leota Henrichs of Miles City.
He is survived by: his brother Phil; his stepchildren, Steve Doherty (Maureen) of Lolo, Mike Doherty (Anne) of Spokane, Kathy Doherty Sprattler (Mark) of Billings, Tim Doherty (Leslie) of Missoula and Mary Doherty Lauffer (Mike) of Spokane; and his nieces and nephews, Barbara Eidel of Bozeman, Patti Ashmore (Wiley Kendle) of Great Falls, Marcia Eidel of Helena, Jan Halbakken (Steve) of Seattle, WA, Colleen Eidel of Great Falls, Jay Eidel of Great Falls, Bob Fontaine (Marie) of Cody, WY, Mike Bradley (Maria) of Gretna, LA and Tom Eidel of Albany, OR. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
