He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schuff and Rhoda Schuff; his wife Edie Herring; his siblings, Bill, Ellsworth, Viola Johnson and Bonnie Sneed; and his stepchildren, Yvonne Pearson and Johnny LaFond.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Jackson (John); his sister Leila Kidrick; his grandson Cory Jackson (Alexis); and his great grandchildren, Lane and Kade Jackson (Bev Holum).
