He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kohles and Maxine Kohles. He is survived by: his wife Joanie Kohles; his children, Ande Brinka (Rick), Nicole Palagi (Dan) and Jay Kohles (Jill); and his siblings, Debra Kohles, Doree Bebee (Grant), Darcy Kohles, Rory Kohles (Sharon) and Bret Kohles (Rhonda). He is also survived by his loving grandchildren; and his tail-wagging grand-dogs.

Memorials are suggested to the McLaughlin Research Institute to further Dementia-Alzheimer's research.
