He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bendig and Vera Bendig (Ott); his brothers, Leslie, Walter, Leonard, Albert, Art and Herman; and his siblings-in-law, Don Stahlecker, Ellen Bendig and Mae Bendig.
He is survived by: his wife Sadako Takahara; his great grandchild Lucas; his children, Zane Bendig (Sarah) of Big Sandy, Penny Cotter (Bill) of Hollister, CA and Cinnamon Fuller (Dave) of Great Falls; his grandchildren, Stetson Watts (Robin), Chase Tay, Michael, Nicholas, Jacqueline Cotter, Brandon, Matthew Bendig, Jamie, Jaxon, Lexi Jones, Beau Fuller (Morgan), Alicia Bracamonte and Jaydian Fuller; his siblings, Ray, Ethel Stahlecker, Loraine Woehl (Bob), Margaret Heien (Dave), Florence Rogero (Bill) and Alma Tiernan (Richard); and his sister-in-law Grace Bendig. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
