He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Fontana and Adele Fontana; and his siblings, Anzarina, Mary, Dominic and Adele.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Fontana (Johnstone); his children, Peter Fontana (Katie), Paul Fontana (Lana) and Anzarina "Rina" Fontana Moore (Dale); his grandchildren, Dale Moore (Tabby), Damian Louis Fontana, Isabella Anzarina Fontana, Jenny Moore and Matthew Moore; his great grandchildren, Giovanni Fontana, Eli Thompson and Caelum Moore; and his nephews, Joe Kilminster, Geary Zale and Jim Calderhead. He is also survived by numerous cousins; brothers and sisters-in-law.
