She was predeceased by: her mother Doreen Houston; her brother Walter "Paul" Houston; and her father Walter J. Houston. She is survived by: her husband Steve Van Tighem; her stepsons, Dr. Mark VanTighem (Stacy) and Michael Van Tighem; her siblings, Scott Houston (Sandy), Shaun Houston (Regina) and Dianne Augustine (Jay); her sister-in-law Cathy Houston (Paul); and her grandchildren, Hannah, Michael and Abigail Van Tighem. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Great Falls Dog Training Club, local animal shelter, or the Alzheimer's Association.
