She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma C. Gurnsey (Lestiko) and John K. Gurnsey; her husband Tony Swartz; her son Tom Swartz; and her siblings, Margaret Simmes, Betty Gardner, H. Eunice Lords, Albertina Lords, Dorothy Mullins, A. Marie Galvin, Howard Gurnsey and John Gurnsey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Young (Robert), Betty Campbell and Tina Peterson (Kevin); her daughter-in-law Betty Swartz; and her sons, Robert Swartz, Raymond Swartz (Cynde) and Clarence Swartz (Linda). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren.
