He was predeceased by: his father Michael Haman. He is survived by: his mother Martha "Marty" Haman; his wife Susan; his sister Belinda Wolfe; his stepmother Gloria Pankratz; his nephew Steven Shanholtz of Great Falls; and his niece Amber Gillespe of Maine.

For many years, Lee donated a lot of his time to the Moose Lodge and even earned the highest degree a male member can receive, the Pilgrim Degree.
