He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Poss and Gina Olina Orpen; his close friend Norma Ferguson; and his siblings, John, Edward Poss, Agnes Moon and Martha Poss.

He is survived by: his brother Edwin Poss of Fergus Falls, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
