He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alice Beck and Merlin; and his stepson Thomas Martinez. He is survived by: his wife Joan; and his children, Daniel Stanfield, Kori Burford (Doug), Brenda Pospisil, Neil Stanfield, Rick Martinez (Deb), Gail Cook (Rick), Brian Martinez (Debbie) and Karen Castle (David). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Sun River Valley American Legion.
