With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Wayne Mikkelsen (Great Falls, Montana), who passed away on April 20, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Russell, Floyd and Laree Pease; his niece Gina Mikkelsen; and his nephew Greg Diamond.
He is survived by: his children, Alan (Lynette), Kim of Yakima, WA and Kelly Norman (Rob) of Canyon Country, CA; his sister Elaine Diamond of Great Falls, MT.; his grandchildren, Traci Ulberg (Matt) of Lolo, MT, Megan Hendrickson (Shawn) of Canyon Country, CA, Scott Norman of Canyon Country, CA, Lisa Kinney (Jim) of Canyon Country, CA, Matt Norman of Canyon Country, CA and Emily Norman of Canyon Country, CA; his great grandchildren, Madison, Gunnar, Steyr Ulberg, Parker, Everett, Conley Hendrickson, Jayne, Eva, Lena, Tuvali Mikkelsen, Reagan and Harper Kinney; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Moira, Finley, Sailor and Owyn Hartley.
Because of the Covid-19 virus, graveside services for family members only will be held Saturday, April 25 at St. Ignatius in Pleasant View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to the Port Townsend Yacht Club Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 75, Port Townsend, WA 98368 a scholarship he was instrumental in starting.
