He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Murphy. He is survived by: his daughter Amber Murphy (Kelvin); his grandchildren, Haedyn, Jaelynn and Daeshyn; his daughter-in-law Mechelle Murphy; and his pets, Beavis and Butthead.
