He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Stenger and Helena Stenger; his sister Marian Stenger Rundquist; and his nephew John "Bob" Boadle. He is survived by: his nieces, Jill Yost of Eureka and Lynne Schweitzer of Eureka; his great-nephew Eli Yost; and his great-niece Jonna Yost Schwarz.
