She was predeceased by: her parents, John DeKoning and Etta DeKoning; her husband Fred Maeder; her son Mark Maeder; and her siblings, Albert DeKoning (Bud), Marjorie Dana (Margie) and Aleda Faydo.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Maeder, Niles Maeder (Cara), Marie "Lynn" Rolland and Tina Redfern (Martin); and her grandchildren, Amber Elliot, John Corbally, Dan Lorenz and Kris Lorenz. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
