She is survived by: her daughter Colette Skurdal (Clay); her grandchildren, Kendra, Ian and Lexie; her son Kevin Schindele (Sheila); her grandchild Kari Cleveland; her son Randy Schindele (Rachel); her grandchildren, Savannah, Bodin and Hunter; and her siblings, Carole Dabler, Donna Hardesty and Rob Elmore.
Memorials to the donor's choice but Jan supported cancer and dialysis research, or plant and nurture a flower.
