James I. Trunkle Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James I. Trunkle (Great Falls, Montana), who passed away on December 12, 2024. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James I. Trunkle to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignatius Trunkle and Anne Trunkle; his wife Anne Havrot; his daughter Theresa; and his sisters, Marjorie Aline and Mary Jean Lynch.
He is survived by: his children, Katherine (Lawrence), Annie (Roger), Phil (Shelly), Thomas (Kelly) and Peter; his son-in-law Sean; his grandchildren, Joseph (Valerie), Katie, Matthew (David), Austin (Marcell), Aubree (Mike), Braedon, Sophie, Meredith and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Marie and Dominic; and his sister Helen Hackett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A vigil service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (201 44th St S, Great Falls, MT 59405). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Ursuline Centre, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, the Montana State School for the Deaf and Blind Foundation, or the Montana Association of the Deaf.
