He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herman Gwen Karnop and Helen Keihl Karnop; his grandparents, Jacob, Ida Karnop, Edgar and Verda Keihl; his sibling Keihl; his wife Bernice Skillman; his children, Steve Karnop of Colstrip and Jill (Curtis Hunt); his grandchildren, Laurel, Jonah, Elijah and Silas Hunt of Great Falls; and his siblings, Chuck Karnop (Janie) of Bozeman, Bob Karnop (Neta) of Billings and Karen Yakel (Ron) of Glendive. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
