He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel J. Spangelo and Dorothy Spangelo (Gillis); and his son Tyler. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Wandke; his son Hutch (Sonya); his grandsons, Tyler and Stanley; and his sister Bethany Spangelo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
