He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Thorson and Helen Osterman. He is survived by: his close friend Lydia Nierenberg; his children, Garri Mauch (Max), Seth Thorson (Dani) and Josh Skinner (Janice Zigan); his sisters, Patricia Campbell, Kathy Thorson and Connie Thorson; and his grandchildren, Teagan, Tinsley, Taylin, Tristin, Lawson, Emily Skinner, Austin Shanks, Olivia Bogner, Gavin Mauch, Izellia Zigan, Andy Driessen, Lauren Driessen and Liam Perné.
