He was predeceased by: his parents, Leota (Scrivens) and Ernest Rutherford, Sr.; his siblings, Doug, Carl, Lurline, Phyllis and Gwendolyn; his son-in-law Kerry O'Farrell; and his grandson James R. "Jamie" Jensen.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey; and his daughters, Diane Anderson (Rick), Charlene O'Farrell, Nancy Rutherford (Alan Gray) and Jill Jensen (Gary). He is also survived by great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
