He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Jeanne Ellois Whitaker; and his children, Steven, Thomas, Mark, Richard (Rebecca), Paula Engbrecht (Joel) and Wendy. He is also survived by one brother; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
