It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Jane Opheim of Great Falls, Montana, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Dorothy may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Milner and Helen Milner (Fred); her siblings, Barbara Pope, Janice Mee and Norman Milner; and her grandson Justin Opheim.
She is survived by: her husband Benjamin L. Opheim; and her children, Steve (Angela) of Fort Shaw, MT and Kim (Greg) of Evansville, WY.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Room Chapel ~ Croxford Funeral (1307 Central Ave, Great Falls, MT 59401).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Great Falls Rescue Mission.
