He was predeceased by: his parents, William LaMere and Virginia LaMere (Mitchell); his granddaughter Freedom Angel Ann Hanson; and his siblings, Eleanor Skinner, Mary Taylor, Ronny Cleland, Lloyd James "Jimmy" Cleland, William and Daniel Gabe LaMere.

He is survived by: his brother Danny; his daughter Cindy Blevins (Daniel) of Great Falls; his siblings, Joanne Ahenakew of Rocky Boy, Wilma Corcoran (Corkie) of Rocky Boy, Edna Kay Finley (James) of Arlee, Virgelene Raya (Joseph) of Great Falls, Francis Cleland (Jackie) of Butte and Ricky Cleland (Susie) of Billings; his aunt Merceline Parker of Rocky Boy; and his uncle James "Jimmy" LaMere of Helena. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
