He is survived by: his former wife Sally Hansen; his children, JD Steffenson (Amy) and Keri Horton; his friend Mary Duvall; his wife Mary Duvall-McGillis; his children, Rebecca Jean McGillis, Bridgette K. McGillis and James Steffenson (Serena); his foster children, Sherman, Shay and Shanell La Vallie; and his siblings, Phyllis McGillis, Wanda Guzman (Jose), Sherry Azure (Donald), Alfred McGillis (Barb), David McGillis (Pam), Edward McGillis, Kevin McGillis (Michelle) and Timothy McGillis (Trish). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
