He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Korst and Sylvia Jones. He is survived by: his wife Thelma; his children, Jennifer Garcia (Jayson Smith), Sunny McFall (Joshua McFall) and Travis Korst (Melissa Lahey); his son-in-law Timothy Garcia; his grandchildren, Juanita Garcia, Madasun Korst, Kasen Lee, Ethan Garcia and Alex Korst; his great grandchild Sylvia Baggett; his stepdaughter Kristina Faust (Cory Faust); his stepgrandchildren, Jordan and Peyton Faust; and his siblings, William Korst, Dean Korst (Melanie Korst), Rose Brady (Mike Brady), Sue Stewart (Randy Stewart) and Rodney Korst (Lynn Price).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the VFW Post 1087 (4123 10th Ave S 55407).
