She was predeceased by: her parents, Oswald "Ozzie" Joseph Wurth and Alma Elsie Raether Wurth; her son John O. Verploegen; her husband Al Verploegen; and her siblings, Donald Wurth and Meta Mary Lux.
She is survived by: her children, Karla V. McCurtain (Scott) of Rock Springs, WY, Laurie Frazier (Loran) of Great Falls, Susan Bodner (Joe) of Raynesford and Jeffrey Verploegen (Ann) of Great Falls; her daughter-in-law Marlyann Verploegen; and her grandchildren, Jasey C. McBurnett (Matt), Matthew McCurtain (Emma), Melissa Kapperud (Tyler), Alex McCurtain (Casey), Britney Hiatt (Jeremiah), Eric Frazier (Emily), Grant Frazier (Grace), Bridget Brookie (Joe) and Angel Polk (Jed). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Holy Spirt Catholic Church and Great Falls Peace Hospice.
