He was predeceased by: his father John Mears; and his siblings, Daniel, Luke Mears and Nancy Mears. He is survived by: his mother Helen Mears; his siblings, Sharon McBride, Sheila Trexler, John Mears (Lois), Mary Heidlebaugh (Jim), Katherine Mears, Ryan Mears, Jenny Griswold (Randy), Charlie Mears (Crystal), Roger Mears, Colleen Anderson (Alden), Monica Henning (Joseph) and Teresa Schraner (David); and his sister-in-law LaRay Mears. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
