He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Goodman Brown and Frank Brown; his former wife Deloris; and his sisters, Beverly Stroop and Ruth Royal.
He is survived by: his wife Leah McDonald; his siblings, Henry Brown, Phyllis Jakes and Butch Brown; his children, Deb Snipes, Sheila Brown and Darrell Brown (Trena); his grandchildren, Ben Snipes (Tori), Kaydee Snipes Ruiz (Phil), April Ruckdaschel, Bryin Ruckdaschel, Deanna Ruckdaschel, Marcedee Brown and Zach Brown (Lindsey); and his great grandchildren, Jack, Elizabeth, Calvin, Vivian, Ronald, Cassidy, Azalia, Payton and Amayia. He is also survived by numerous friends, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Alvin's memory to local veteran support organizations.
