He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Powell Kline and Alexander Kline; his stepfather Lee Eller; and his siblings, Dorothy, Sharon and Steve Eller.
He is survived by: his former wife Wanda; his sons, Alan, Mark (Jodi) of Fairbanks, AK and Robert (Val) of Copper Center, AK; his wife Marsha; his sons, Daniel (Patty) of Reardon, WA and Donald (Sarah) of Ulm, MT; and his sister Donna Eller. He is also survived by eight grandsons and one granddaughter.
