He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie (Rein) and Henry Kukus Jr.; his grandson Michael Martin; and his siblings, Etta Hinman, Gloria Dietz, Caroline Hansen, Kathryn, Bob, Arnie, Donny, Jerry and Orlie Kukus.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Krous; his daughters, Rosemarie (Chuck) of West Fargo, ND and GwenAnn Martin (Shawn) of Devils Tower, WY.; his great grandchildren, Matt, Alynna Woodbury (Kennedy), Angie, Kirby Hedstrom (Brooks), Kate, Ken Gunderson (Kenny Jr), Paul, Kataira Martin (Aria) and Cody Martin; and his sisters, Bonnie Damm (Delmar) of Sidney and Anna Ginther of Sidney.
