He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Slehofer and Ella Slehofer (Malkuch); his sister Barbara Gehnert; and his brothers-in-law, Rudy Lindstrom, Jerome Koffler and Russell Evinrude.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Chad Long; his cousins, Joe Malkuch and James Huffman; his former wife Amy Henry; his daughter Amanda; his wife Susan Price Travis; his children, Amber Long (Chad), Hailee, Hannah, Pete Travis, Jessica Slehofer of Glendive, Maddison of Glendive, Zoei of Glendive and Stefan Slehofer (Aaliyah Marx) of Bozeman; his siblings, Dale Engle, Elton Engle (Dee) of Sheridan, Dennis Engle (Rosie), Warren Engle (Anne) of Glendive, Kay Lindstrom of Mesa and Grace Koffler of Glendive; and his brother-in-law Art Gehnert. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews, and many other special family members.
