With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Magdalene Hegel of Glendive, Montana, who passed away on September 18, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Steckler and Lena Steckler (Ehrmantraut); her husband Joe; and her siblings, Alex, Frank, Jake, John, Joe, Henry, Anton Steckler and Margaret Harvell.
She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Hegel; her children, Patrick Hegel (Penny) of Glendive, Larry Hegel (Michelle) of Glendive, Cyril Hegel of Seattle, Richard Hegel (Arlene) of Billings, Montana, Maryann Poteat (Frank) of Mead, Phyllis Kitchen (Mike) of Lovell, Linda Peuse (Dave) of Missoula and Laurie Vetter (Steve) of Bismarck; and her brothers, Mike Steckler (Betty) of Glen Ullin and Pete Steckler (Alvina) of Mohave. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
