He was predeceased by: his parents, August Roehl and Martha Roehl (Hoffer); his sister Edna; his brother-in-law Harold; and his niece Jennifer Whitmore.
He is survived by: his wife Ilse of Glendive; his children, Barb Roehl of Glendive, Tom Roehl (Debbie) of Glendive and Heidi Carney (Pat) of Glendive; his siblings, Esther Smith of Billings and Leonard Roehl (Betty) of Terry, MT; his brother-in-law Bill Whitmore (Anna Marie) of Stanley, ND; his granddaughter Samantha Hoesel (Jaden) of Sidney; his great grandchild Andrea Hoesel; and his nieces, Denise, Theresa, Carrie and Becky.
