With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce J. Holmes (Glendive, Montana), born in Sherwood, North Dakota, who passed away on March 19, 2020 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry John and Minnie Alvida Armstrong (Lindholm); her husband Virgil; her siblings, June Bauer, Audrey Roth, John "Jack" Armstrong and Virginia Carlton; and her daughter-in-law Judy Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Holmes of Richfield, Minnesota and Joan Haugeberg (Ron) of Glendive. She is also survived by three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great, great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
