He was predeceased by: his parents, Knute Skartved and Neva Skartved (Jimison); his brother Vernon; and his daughters, Lisa, Wives Linda and Elona.
He is survived by: his spouse Elona Mae Unruh; his children, Loren Skartved (Debbie), Wade Skartved (Cristi), Tina Talbert, Sheri LaCombe (Geno) and Johnlyn Broeder; his grandchildren, Shawn, Chance, Broden, Mattie, Raschel, Joshua, Jordan, Jace, Jaxon, Mackenna and Logan; his great grandchildren, Adalee and Layla; his siblings, Donald, John (Joyce), Eddie (Glenda) and Nora; and his close friend Jojo.
