Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Frances Irene Steiner of Glendive, Montana, who passed away at the age of 93, on March 18, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Geiger and Barbara Geiger (Kuntz); her husband Jake Steiner; her siblings, Michael, Peter Geiger, Paulina Gavin Johnson, Monica Geiger, Mary Geiger, Anna Latka, Cecilia Schank, Helen Evinrude, Bertha Evinrude and Clara Byrd; and her grandson Jacob Hutchison.
She is survived by: her children, David Steiner, Joyce Hutchison (John) of Glendive, MT, Wayne Steiner (Nadine) of Wahpeton, ND, Nancy Colbrese (Victor) of Maple Grove, MN and Leroy Steiner (Deanne) of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, Justin Steiner, Trevor Steiner (Chelsa), Natasha Christofferson (Scott), Ciara Hutchison, Savannah Theer (Zach) and Wyatt Colbrese; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Madison Steiner, Jaken, Jhett and Aveyn Christofferson; and her sister-in-law Marlene Geiger Barth. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
After her husband's death in 2009, Frances took pride in volunteering with the Sacred Heart Quilters and Glendive RSVP kitchen band, in which she played the piano.
