She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernstena Schepens (Frankenburg) and John Schepens; her husband James "Jim" Brown; her parents-in-law, Palmer and Betty Brown; her siblings, Gertrude Undem, Henry, Charles, Leo and Fred Schepens; and her grandson Jess Stout.
She is survived by: her children, Cathie Dolatta (Robert), Cami Graham (John), Tisha Larsen (Tyler), Robert (Bob), Amy Gingell (Greg), Stacie Carter (James), Sara Evans (Keith), Carol Varner (Marvin), Jacie Schoenen (Brett), Tonya Appelt (Jeff), Laini McNaney (Brian), Colleen Hoffman (Jack), Loni Handran, Ashlie Staiger (Ryan), Chris Stout (Jim), Chad Stout (Stephanie), Lacie Stout, Carla Boucher (Jim), Shawn Hystad (Michaela), Cameron Hystad (Kim), Clint Boucher (Sarah) and Steve Brown (Sandra); her grandchildren, Bailey, Kayla, Kaitlin and Cheri Strouf (Dave); her children, Brock Strouf (Leah) and Amber Strouf; her nieces, Connie Undem, Sue Peterson (Bruce) and Jeanne Undem; and her sister-in-law Betty Lou De Kaye (Daryl). She is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tena's name are suggest to the Glendive Medical Center Foundation at 202 Prospect Drive, Glendive, MT 59330.
