It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cherie May Oakland of Glendive, Montana, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Curtiss Deckert. She is survived by: her parents, Clive Wiles and Anita Wiles (Maier); her husband Brent Oakland; her daughters, Jennifer Jones (Tom) of Glendive and Chelse Deckert of Glendive; her brother Scott Wiles (Missy) of Washington; and her stepdaughters, Andrea Browning of West Virginia and Monica Shimmin (Marcus) of Florida. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials in Cherie's name are suggested to the University of Montana Griz Foundation.
