She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Knaus and Pauline Knaus; her husband Jake; and her sisters, Doris and Ruthie.
She is survived by: her children, David Popp (Laurie), Gregory Popp (Shelly), Elizabeth Turner (David), Paula Marx (Steve) and Janette Bogar (Doug); her grandchildren, Erin Molyneaux (Keith), Ryan Popp, Jacob Popp (Maddy), Sarah Bankston (Austin), Drew Turner, Katie Descheemaeker (Bo), Addison Marx, Regan Marx, Hannah Bogar and Carson Bogar; her great grandchildren, Paige, Alex, Luke, Owen, Paxton and Nixon; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Short and Honey Jo Popp. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Silha Funeral Homes - Glendive (221 N Meade Ave, Glendive, MT 59330). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (401 Riverview Ave, Glendive, MT 59330).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Carol's name to a charity of your choice.
