He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Bishop and D. L. Bishop; his brother Dennis; his parents-in-law, Duane and Shirley Meiers; and his grandson Bryce.

He is survived by: his family, Renae Bishop of Minot and Randy Bishop (Liz) of Spring Creek; his wife Cindy; his children, Renae and Randy (Liz); his grandchildren, Skyla and Kyson; and his brothers-in-law, Duane (Dana), Bob (Jill) and Mike (Becky).
