He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Mayben and Bessie Rhodes (Reed); his wife Mary Jane Rhodes; his son John Rhodes; his siblings, Grace Busch (George), Frances Lass (Bob) and Allen Rhodes; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Rhodes, William "Bill" Davis (Shirley) and Rocky Boquist.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Rhodes (Jeri) of Littleton, Colorado and Rhonda Griebel (Mitch) of Glasgow; his grandchildren, Ben Rhodes (Anna) of Parker, Davis Rhodes (Christine Ehlers) of Fort Collins, Colorado, Janice Griebel (Zach Bailey) of Forsyth, Montana and Debra Griebel of Glasgow; his great grandchild Cecil Griebel of Glasgow; his brother Tom Rhodes of Idaho Falls; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Boquist of Stanton, California..
