He is survived by: his former spouse Kay F. Sullivan; his children, Julie Robinson, Jeannette Morrison, Michael Ames and Sheila Knoepke; and his daughter-in-law Susan Ames. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren.
