He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Olson and Alma Olson (Boom). He is survived by: his wife Jan Olson; his children, Debbie Smith (Russell), Ed Olson, Randy Olson (Nancy), Karen Newton (Ted) and Roger Olson; and his stepchildren, Gary Meller and Chris Crater (Mike). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
