He was predeceased by: his parents, Ingvar Barstad and Myrtle Barstad (Paulson); and his uncle Henry. He is survived by: his spouse Roberta; his children, Mitchell Barstad (Dawn), Brent Pennington (Danelle Murch) and Callie Pennington; his grandchildren, Spencer, Banner, Skylar, Ryder, Colton, Breanna, Mikayla and Cameron; and his brothers, Marvin (Georgia) and Harvey.
On March 7, 2019, Milton Barstad decided to quit fighting Alzheimer's disease.
