He was predeceased by: his parents, Lisle Squires and Cecile Squires (Turnacliff); his siblings, Harold Squires (Myrel) and Donna Lee Etchart (Mitch); and his son Dale Squires.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his son Gary Squires (Dawn); his grandson Joshua Squires (Kayla); and his great grandchildren, Logan and Lane. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
