He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Pliley (Mirus) and Herbert Pliley (Gene); and his siblings, Theo Pliley (Bud), Phil Pliley and Vivian Lighthizer (Pliley).
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn H. Pliley; his children, James E. Pliley (Patricia) and Pamela D. Burch (James) of Kasson; and his brothers, Bill Pliley (Wilma) of Glasgow and Bob Pliley of Riverton, WY.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
