She was predeceased by: her parents, G. W. "Willie" and Clara Johnson (Berge); her husband Elmer Nybakken; her former husband Harry Herman; her granddaughter Diane; and her siblings, Ruth Brooks and Wallace Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Nybakken and Shirley Ball; her grandchildren, Jackie Dowell (Steve), David Ball (Patricia) and Jim Ball (Kerri); and her great grandchildren, Lyle Dowell (Tiffany) and Jason Ball (Jody). She is also survived by friends, their many god-children and relatives.
