He was predeceased by: his mother Bernice Smoker Turntoes; his wife Clarice Follette Bigleggins; his parent Sherwin Bigleggins, Sr.; and his brothers, Sherwin, Jr., Harold, Dwight and Rodney Bigleggins.

He is survived by: his son Christopher Follette; his siblings, Franklin Turntoes, David Bigleggins, Wanda, Nettie and Erin Bigleggins; and his cousins, Rose and Bobby White.
