He was predeceased by: his parents, Louisa Reid and Walter Reid; and his siblings, Howard, John Reid, Betty Reid Michael and Margaret Reid Thune.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; and his children, Dave (Pam), Cindy, Dan and Don (Katrina). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
