She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna McSweeney and Steve McSweeney; her pet Gene; her husband Gene Friesz; and her siblings, Diann Bishop and Dennis McSweeney.

She is survived by: her siblings, Donna Agnew (Stuart) and Dean McSweeney (Joan). She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
